Airports:

Pickup from the Manhattan airport can be arranged ahead of time at no extra cost to help you save on not getting a rental car, if preferred.
Your guide will pick you up from the lodge the morning before each hunt and will provide your transportation all day during the hunt.

LODGING

Lodge:

"The Roost" is the newest addition to Heartland Hunts. Sitting on 500 acres of prime river bottom habitat. The name of my newly renovated 1940's farmhouse will make sense shortly after your arrival. It is not uncommon to hear anywhere from 5-10 gobblers a night on their roosts stretched out along the river. The Roost has all the rustic feels of hunting camp with all of the amenities you will need on your trip. Meals are not provided but you have all that you need and more to cook your favorite meals while in camp. If cooking isn't your specialty, there is a grocery store as well as a couple of restaurants and a good bar & grill in both of the nearby towns which are both under 10 minutes from the lodge.
