Injured Bird/Miss Policy
-
If a bird is crippled or injured that is deemed unrecoverable, that Tom will count as your bird and will conclude your hunt. I will decide whether or not it was a clean miss or if you injured the Tom and my decision will be final, this is covered under the liability waiver and hunt terms agreement form that you will sign before we start hunting.
-
Though this should not happen, as I will never tell you to take a shot at a Tom until the bird is in range and you (the client) states you are ready to shoot and feel 100% confident and comfortable doing so.
-
Patterning each hunter’s weapon and its effective lethal ranges are at the discretion of my clients. It is the client’s responsibility to provide a functional and effective means to harvest wild turkey's in accordance with state and federal laws.
MANAGEMENT
-
My farms are strictly managed to produce mature, wild Kansas Toms for our clients. Toms are harvested based off the flock sizes and maturity of the birds that makeup each of our farms and the surrounding areas.
-
I cover 7 counties of prime wild turkey habitat. Hunting pressure on all of our farms is minimal and we make sure to regulate where and when we hunt to ensure you are always hunting fresh, unpressured birds for the duration of your hunt.
-
Our farms are scouted daily and are some of, if not the best turkey hunting properties in the surrounding areas.
-
Multiple new farms are available to us this year that have not been hunted on or pressured in the past few years.
-
Jake's are NOT harvested to ensure we produce mature trophy class birds for our clients year after year.
