"Booked a trip with Heartland for myself and my 7th grade son. This was the first ever turkey hunt for both of us. Right out of the gates, before us ever showing up, Alec demonstrated excellent customer service. I had a ton of questions and Alec was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The hunt was AMAZING. Alec put us on action immediately and when the turkey weren't cooperating, he always had a backup plan to put us on other turkeys. Ultimately my son and I each shot a strutting Tom at the same time on the morning of the first full day of the trip! Memory of a lifetime, right there! Accommodations were excellent. "My uncle Tim and myself came to Kansas to hunt with Alec ,this was our first guided hunt of any kind. We did not know what to expect. But after meeting Alec at the airport I felt like I had known him for years. He is very professional and courteous. I am 50 years old fat and out of shape and my uncle is pushing 70 years old him self. We was at camp about 5 min and was on Turkey. The next morning my uncle tagged out and we had several close encounters the rest of the day. We seen lots of Turkey the next couple days and had several close calls. And it paid off… we seen so many turkeys while we was there but nothing was coming together for us. But on our last day it all came to a end with us knocking one in the head… alec is a super nice guy and we felt right at home…. Beautiful country up there also..
